Explains importance of target: 8th Air Force bombing rail system south west of Berlin in support of Russian advance. [10:00-15:00] Mission continued: 'hung' bomb and crew member nearly falling out of bomb-bay trying to release it. Describes thirty-third mission, marshalling yards, Ingolstadt, Germany, 1 March 1945, as part of 8th Air Force attack on jet factories and rail targets in Munich area. Describes thirty-fourth mission, marshalling yards, Harburg, Germany, 5 March 1945. [15:00-20:00] Mission continued: generator fire and engine problems.
