Description
Photographs (captioned) of American Red Cross women (with dog) at Bishop's Palace, Norwich, and of 2nd Air Division Headquarters personnel, with a covering letter outlining her wartime service, 20 May 1987. During the Second World War Mrs N.I. Carr, of Sprowston, was employed by the Air Ministry to work with the USAAF, originally on Constitution Hill, Norwich and then at Fifer's Lane, Horsham St Faith. Later she transferred to the accounts office of the American Red Cross.
