The Liberator', vol. 1, no. 15 (25 January 1943); and three news cuttings concerning the death of Lt Gen. Frank Maxwell Andrews, Commanding General of the European Theatre of Operations. Lt Gen. Frank Maxwell Andrews was allied commander in the European Theatre of Operations. He was killed in an air crash over Iceland, c. 4 May 1943. He was buried in the American Cemetery, Rekjavik, Iceland.
