Copies of seven short memoirs of Clark's service with the Griffth Crew. Contains: 1) 'Escape from Nazi Europe 1944. A Farmhouse in France. 21 Days to Freedom'; 2) 'My Short Snorter - Dog Tags'; 3) 'The First Top Gun'; 4) 'Lost B-24 Found'; 5) 'Tales of the 44th'; 6) 'Life in the 8th. Part of the WWII [Second World War] Wartime Memoirs of T/Sgt. Forrest S. Clark'; 7) 'Profiles of a Typical American Air Crew', which includes recollections of the crew of Lt Rockford C. Griffith, Clark's account of being shot down, 13 April 1944, his subsequent escape from Nazi Europe and return to his base in England, December 1944. With covering note explaining his purpose in writing the memoir to focus on the ordinary line crews.
