Recording starts at 13 minutes 10 seconds. Stories about experience of machine gun fire from German Heinkel aircraft and surrender of crew; holding up a dummy mission of the 392nd Bomb Group at Wendling by driving around the airstrip and being fined by Military Police; friendship with Russell 'Pappy' Moore and the naming of his B-24 'Daily Trips' after an improvised toilet in Honeypot Wood; injured by a tailgate on a truck after lunch with a Technical Sergeant who drove away before it was fixed and hit him on the head.
