Two of the photographs were taken outside the Barn Tavern, Barn Row, Dereham Road, 1944. Also contains two copies of an article recalling the bombing of Norwich on 27 April 1942, 'Eastern Evening News', (15 April 1967). Part of correspondence sent to Harry and Ivy Royal and family by American servicemen during and post-Second World War.
