Papers relating to an article about the arrival of a B-24 Liberator aeroplane at the Eight Air Force Museum, Barksdale, 22 December 1978; accident report about crash of the B-24H serial no. 42-7551, near Cranworth, 13 January 1944, including list of crew members; article by Dave Patterson, 'Members of the 2nd Air Division Association, Rest Well Tonight, Your British Governors (of Our Memorial) Are Alert and On Guard...!!!', about Trust Governor, David Hastings, flying his Rockwell Commander aeroplane to RAF West Raynham as part of a security test exercise. B-24H serial no. 42-7551 is identified as an aeroplane from the 44th Bomb Group, Shipdham, piloted by Glenn Hovey when it crashed near Cranworth. Dave Patterson is identified as formerly of the 445th Bomb Group, Tibenham.
