Photographs (captioned) showing George Kubes at Shipdham airbase, 1944; Kubes in the snow on base, December 1944; an aircraft which crash landed at base after returning from a weather reconaissance mission, 12 April 1945 (3 photographs). Newspaper articles relating to the dedication of a plaque by the 44th Bomb Group at the United States Air Force (USAF) Academy, 29 August 1986, and 'World War II veterans, volunteers reunite at the North Platte canteen', from 'The Journalist' (11 November 1988).
