Describes work in propeller shop at 363rd Sub-Depot, Hethel, Norfolk. Remarks on transfer to 565th Squadron as flight engineer and flying seventeen combat missions from December 1944, mostly with the Sessom's crew. Describes memorable missions: Neumunster, Germany, including German pilot's suicide attack on lead crew; low level supply drop, Wesel, Germany, March 1945; mission targetting ME-262 training field, Berlin, and seeing a V-2 in sky on another mission.
